Google "black mangrove seed". It looks a bit like it. If that is the case, it probably came from up the coast. Definitely salty, they grow in salt water. I found this from googling "green seed beach"! Isn't the internet a marvel? Xo Jazzy Jack
LOL I confess I adore the internet for quick information like that. My family has always been keen owners of reference books and my parents still are. I am stuck in the middle. I own lots of reference books with a particular fondness for dictionaries but rarely use them now. I'm just not minimalist enough to let go of them! Anyhow, I love seeds and seed pods. I've got a small collection myself, along with leaves, shells, roseships etc.
