This is an especially endearing picture to me. Australian forest does not look exactly like pine forest in Siberia, of course, but it has similarly clean floor! Here in the PNW forest floor has a bazillion of growths of all sorts! Jungles practically!
It is very stark but I ADORE walking through forests like this where the trees tower above with a carpet of textured brown and very little obvious variation ...until you get close!
