the wonder of life
it strikes swift as lightning
like the flick of a bird's wing
or a flash of iridescence
the spark of joy
of a turning leaf
signalling autumn
or that first opening bud
suddenly green
amongst the cold
it's a smile flashing
across the face
of the world

    Spectacular image and concepts - well done.

    I especially like how you went from the power and drama of lightning to the power and quietness of bud burst :-)
