I had this idea and although slightly daggy, will no doubt be very useful in winter when the kids have lost their mittens...meow, meow, we have lost our mittens etc.
Once there was a sock with a hole ..poor sock :-(

It coughed and coughed its hole out
The heels were sewn to eliminate the hole
And the mittens were sewn along the pencil line
The princess tested the mitten to see if her thumb would fit
It did!
Then they were sewn together, and voila!
A happy princess with toasty warm hands!
